How mauri is affected by external sources

If we take a look at te ira tangata (humans) on a cellular/biological level, we're electrogenic. A Kohanga Reo definition I have is: the cells in our brains and bodies produce an electrical charge. I'm going to elaborate on the whakapapa (process) now, so please try to keep up as we go through a very technical method of getting to the actual point of this post.

We produce electricity, right? Cool. Guess what conducts electricity? Water.* Who's made up of almost all % water? We are. Hmm, interesting.. and who physically manifests as the fluids and liquids inside us?

“you should start to become more aware of the energy you're taking into spaces, the energy others bring to you and the energy of the places and spaces you interact with” Hana Photography, Perth, 2017.

Tangaroa.

Ok not that technical but you get it.. now, with that whakaaro (concept) in mind; think of how the electrical currents, the mauri (life force) in your body flows and moves about and think of your latest interactions with people and spaces and if you've noticed a change occur.. *Leave to simmer* while we look at a few examples

Outside - in: last night I attended a presentation about how to grow your business better and faster. People there were buzzing with excitement, inspired, keen to learn and soak in what this guy had to share with us. It amped me up too! I went in feeling a little cautious and wary but the moment I walked into the registration area, I felt a shift in how I was feeling, I started to feel the buzz.

Another one; when I feel run down and my energy levels start to drop - I visit Tangaroa (low-key the biggest conductor of mauri), spend some time talking to him, listening to him and letting him wash over me.. and what do you know? I leave him feeling lighter and a lot better.

Much like how the ripples flow outward from the source of displacement, my mauri can affect everything around me. iPhone, Rotorua, 2017.

An inside out example (bonus): when I sense other people are down or not quite themselves, I want to show and be love (compassionate, understanding, patient, empathetic). I want to generate so much aroha and light to affect the mauri, the charge in their tinana that by simply being there, not even saying anything, they start to heal and feel better.

If you look at how mauri affects and is affected by external sources, or more importantly; how Tangaroa° transmits and radiates that mauri to everything around it.. you should start to become more aware of the energy you're taking into spaces, the energy others bring to you and the energy of the places and spaces you interact with.

Kia mataara e te iwi, be aware,

Hana

*Water itself doesn't conduct water, it's the ions (charged molecule, atom from minerals) or the mauri (life force) in the water which allows the electricity to flow through it.

° Tangaroa as the sea and as the fluids that make up most of our bodies

ps: you might subconsciously do it anyway and think, 'it feels good around this person' or 'I get an uneasy feeling when I go to .....'. A lot of it will have to do with how mauri being affected by or affecting the other.
