taking responsibility: hard work, but oh so liberating

New moon, new cycle.. Holy heck! This last one’s been intense… for me anyway, how’s it been for you? It feels like I’m only just starting to live into the freedom of extra space and time created by decisions to turn down opportunities, by saying ‘no’ to things and removing myself from places and spaces that don’t align.. it’s only been possible thanks to taking responsibility for myself, my needs and wants.

It’s hard work, but oh so necessary.. and oh so liberating.

It’s only been possible………. because I’ve become clear about what my wants and needs actually are… I feel the best I’ve felt in aaaages and I can trace it back to small, sometimes difficult decisions, to prioritise how I can best contribute to the world over my dumb, exhausting, FOMO habits of wanting to be part of everything…

It’s the creation process — the whakapapa of potential phasing to darkness, into light. Confusion and lack of clarity evolving into wisdom, enlightenment, knowing and understanding. Te Kore, Te Pō, Te Ao Mārama… whakapapa has the answers, who’d have thought?

And when you know….. like when you knowwww what you want and need (from yourself and from others) and you start clearing pathways to let the energies flow where they must, it’s really hard to un-know… make sense? It’s as if that clarity brings you into the light with full force and allows you to see what you couldn't see before..

not just the beauty and potential in opportunities and connections, but also where you’ve been slacking,

where you’ve been irresponsible, where you’ve passed the buck to someone/something else, where you have been doing things you know you really shouldn’t be… te ao mārama exposes everything.

You ready for that? Koia kei a koe,

Hana.
